Danzan Ryu Restorative Therapy

REGISTRATION FOR THE CLASS OF 2024 IS NOW CLOSED. Please contact us if you'd like to be added to the email list for the next program.

Professor Okazaki taught both jujutsu and bodywork techniques to his students, promoting the idea that the fighting spirit should be balanced by the healing spirit. His technique is derived from his training in Japanese restorative techniques as well as traditional Hawaiian bodywork.

Wasenshi Kan Martial & Healing Arts is approved to offer training in the healing arts that Professor Okazaki taught through the American Judo & Jujitsu Federation. These classes are open to all qualified persons, whether or not they study martial arts. The training does not lead to any formal certification as recognized by the State of California.

We are pleased to offer the Technician (Module 1) and Therapist (Module 3) programs of the DZRRT program this year. Classes will be held in Sacramento, CA. For jujutsu students, this healing arts class is a valid AJJF mat activity for Black Belt exam purposes. Current AJJF registration and background screening are required, and applications will be available on site. Massage only and temporary AJJF registrations will be available. Successful completion of the full Technician Program will lead to recognition by the DZRSI and Wasenshi Kan as a Massage Technician. Successful completion of the full Therapist Program will lead to recognition by Wasenshi Kan as a Massage Therapist. State recognition or certification is not given or implied by Wasenshi Kan or the DZRSI.

Registration for the full 2023-2024 programs are now closed. Please contact us if you'd like to be added to the email list for the next class. The earliest the next class will be offered will be the fall or late summer, 2024.
